The first issue of the Irish Journal of Paramedicine (IJP) has been published following its launch at the 2016 EMS Gathering. The IJP is an open access, peer reviewed, international journal dedicated to advancing and promoting the science of pre-hospital clinical care, research, education, policy, management and operational delivery. It will be free to access and submit articles for publication.

The Irish Journal of Paramedicine is the official journal of the Irish College of Paramedics. We are delighted to be associated with this significant new venture.   The Journal provides an opportunity for pre-hospital practitioners to publish and marks a significant addition to the world of practitioner centred pre-hospital care research.

The IJP provides a mechanism for you to submit your manuscript.  Have you completed research related to pre-hospital care and would you like to see your work published?  Then you should visit www.irishparamedicine.com for further information.

We wish Alan Batt (Editor) all the very best with the Irish Journal of Paramedicine, a significant milestone in the development of our profession.
