Medicine in Society is a behavioral science text which contains 11 chapters each giving a different perspective on the interactions between Patients, Health Professionals and the Health Service and the context within which these interactions happen1. I first came across this book last year when I was in UCD and was introduced to it by Professor Gerry Bury during one of our professional practice module lectures.
